The Middlesex Community College Life Sciences Advisory Board provides input to faculty on the skills required of graduates in the workplace. This information is used to develop the overall program and outcomes. Specific course outcomes are mapped to the program outcomes and faculty identify learning materials to assist students in mastering these outcomes. Learning materials include open education resources. Industry members on the Life Sciences Advisory Board include representatives from Keurig Green Mountain; Lantheus Medical Imaging; Genzyme; Shire; Agenus, Inc.; Biogen Idec; Mat Tek Corporation; TEI Biosciences; WuXi App Tec; and Novartis.
