Grant serves 11 counties in Ohio, plus 3 counties each in PA and W.V. Project Description and List Credentials to be Developed and Awarded: This project serves Eastern Gateway Community College (EGCC) and seeks to: (1) create a new manufacturing training center to meet unmet demand for training, (2) deepen systemic integration among EGCC, agencies, and employers, and (3) build stacked and latticed credentials and integrate evidence-based strategies to serve TAA-eligible workers. Credentials include industry certifications, short-term (less than 6 months) and intermediate-term (at least 6 months) postsecondary certificates, and associate degrees in Manufacturing Technology, Welding Technology, and Industrial Maintenance.
