These modules provides the basic content for a mastectomy fitter certificate course. The objectives accompanying this content include: Discuss musculoskeletal anatomy including the chest, spine, and upper limb and their corresponding anatomical landmarks. Describe the pathologies that accompany mastectomy patients including cancer, surgical types and lymphedema issues, and compensatory damages. Define medical terminology as it relates to mastectomy. Explain basic psychosocial disorders and issues that may be encountered with the mastectomy patient.
