Fundamentals of Elder Care course is an introduction to the concepts and skills that serve as a foundation for the healthcare professional providing care to patients ages 65 and older. This course will also introduce students to the information about the aging process and related medical, psychological and cognitive changes that are needed to effectively care for the elderly person in a long-term care center or at home.
