Architectural Design II: Detailing & Lab
This collection includes materials for Capital Community College’s Architectural Design II Detailing & Detailing Lab courses. These materials are course outlines. Through these courses, students will successfully be able to demonstrate written and communicative skills related to the integrated design process, charrettes, and sustainable design considerations for building interiors and exteriors. Student projects associated with this course will be more comprehensive and focus on architectural detailing and design analysis during and after a design project. Students will demonstrate an understanding of basic design concepts applied to given projects. Exercises and discussions deal with commercial projects of greater complexity and detailing and focus expectations of the traditional architectural office. Additionally, through the lab experience, students will successfully be able to demonstrate written, drawn, and communicative skills related to an understanding of basic design concepts applied to given projects and the integrated design process, charrettes, and sustainable design considerations for building interiors and exteriors.
