Rural Hawaii Community Colleges Workforce Development Program

The Rural Hawaii Community Colleges Workforce Development Program seeks to address the high unemployment and skills gap in rural Hawaii counties. The program will train rural Hawaiian populations and Veterans in the areas of Business and Accounting, GIS, Food Innovation, Sustainability, EV/PHEV, Automotive, Water/Wastewater by improving upon their already extensive hybrid and online curriculums. The program will also add staffing for career counseling, job placement, and build tracking capacity on student outcomes.
