Following HIPAA eLearning Simulation

This simulation is designed to enhance and illustrate HIPAA’s Protected Health Information (PHI) rules for healthcare students who have received initial instruction or information on this topic. This is accomplished through video scenarios that show how various healthcare professionals are responsible for following and enforcing the HIPAA law. Students are asked to respond to each scenario to determine their knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations including recognition of HIPAA violations and demonstration of corrective actions.
