Quality Note:
The Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program at Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified Part 147 program as described under the FAA 8900 Order. The certification process provides for interaction between the applicant and the FAA from initial inquiry to issuance or denial of an Aviation Maintenance Technical School (AMTS) certificate. It ensures the thorough review, evaluation and testing of programs, systems, and methods of compliance. Given the requirement of receiving FAA approval in order to deliver the Part 147 AMT curriculum, the FAA served as the subject matter expert for curriculum deliverables. The successful review of the curriculum is demonstrated by the FAA Air Agency Certification issued to Cape Cod Community College to operate an approved AMT school. The Airframe rating was issued on August 25, 2016 and the Powerplant rating on April 4, 2017.
